The season is almost over, join us for our free Yoga in High Park class with Ian Elliott from System Fitness!
About Ian Elliott:
Beginning with several years of seated meditation, alongside exploration of Bhakti and Karma yoga, eventually moving into the physical system of asana, Ian has been practicing since 2004, and dedicatedly sharing his experience with students since 2012. He offers adaptive practices that are equally challenging, light-hearted and compassionate, providing students the means to sustainably explore and evolve their inherent potential and wisdom. Strongly rooted in meditative breath awareness and the interplay of movement and stillness, his classes are aimed at cultivating and refining sthira (stability) and sukha (ease), both on and off the mat. Ian is also a certified Earth Shiatsu™ Therapist, practicing since 2009, and actively exploring the connections between yoga and this healing modality. When he isn't teaching, he can be found trail-running, preparing health-conscious meals and DJing tribal dance parties.
